April Pereira, Roll 20: D&D and the Power of Community Storytelling
April Pereira (she/they) is the Founder and Director of StorySpark Collective. April's passion for storytelling ignited from witnessing the power of shared narratives to shape lives and communities.
With degrees in Geography and Community and Regional Planning from Keene State College and the University of Oregon, respectively, April brings a unique blend of academic rigor and lived experience to her work. April's professional journey, including a pivotal role as Outreach and Public Programs Manager at the Clark County Historical Museum, has been dedicated to amplifying the voices of systemically non-dominant groups, fostering community engagement, and driving social change.
As an author and community advocate, April is committed to empowering individuals and organizations to harness the transformative potential of storytelling. Through StorySpark Collective, April seeks to create a world where every voice is heard and valued.
